Why?

Why is it that we trust in man, when you are the solution? Why do we say that we believe, yet settle for pollution? Why is it when the storms arise that we are filled with fear? When things become out of control and everything's unclear. How can we put a limit on what only you can do? How can we have a hint of doubt when your word is the truth? Oh change our callous hearts my God to trust Love never fails. For every drop of blood you shed, will lead us to prevail. Forgive us Lord, renew our minds we humbly ask of thee. As we go forth to seek your face, Dear God please start with me. Isaiah 26:3 "You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you."

The Nails

The nails that symbolize the greatest story ever told. To bring life to humanity for ages young and old. The nails driven beyond the hands of perfect sinless man. With hatred, envy, bitterness, was part of his great plan. The pain he bore was beyond all human comprehension. The choice was made to bring forth hope for all the distant nations. O Son of man, what did you feel being crucified for me? What did you think about my Lord, while hanging on that tree? Please lead us to the cross my God where only there we'll see. Our sins atoned for by your blood that brings us victory. And humbly Lord we praise your name and give you all glory. For love, for hope, for mercy, grace we bow down unto thee. Isaiah 53:5 "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed."

Bless our children

A mother's eye can see beyond what no one else can see. A mother's vision becomes clear when her children become her dreams. She struggles as she tries her best to keep her children near. And as her children go thru trials, she'll wipe away their tears. She'll fight, she'll war, she'll sacrifice to meet her children's needs. But the best thing that a mom can do is fall down to her knees. Despite a mother's love which never has no end. The father whom created them will always be their friend. But what about the children who have nobody there? And every night they wonder why, nobody even cares? Lord look at them with mercy as you sit upon your throne. And build a hedge of protection so they'll never feel alone. And if our children stray unto a land that is unknown. The father who gave up his life will bring the prodigal home. Isaiah 11:6 "The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the year...

Wandering Thoughts

As I stare out the window, my mind travels far away to a place where as I exhale and close my eyes, ever grateful for another day. I savor every moment where the manifestation of your spirit dwells in me. As I ponder on a time where inside this temple, I felt so empty. Oh my King I feel your touch, my ears are sensitive to your sweet voice. As the soft breeze whispers a song that causes me to rejoice. You, the creator of all things, setting everything in motion. And I inhale the aroma of the fragrance of your rejuvenating potion. Oh Son of Man arise in me the desire to serve with all my heart. And in my wandering thoughts dear Lord, I'll embrace this brand new start. Zephaniah 3:12 "But I will leave within you the meek and humble, who trust in the name of the Lord."

Tender Love

Clear me from my faults, purify my heart. Set my feet firmly, from your ways I shall not depart. Lord you are my shield, giving me new strength. Your love is deep and can't be measured, by width, nor height, nor length. By your precepts I rejoice because your love is pure. Yet even when at times I fail, your grace keeps me secure. How could it be the Lord of Lord would give his life for me? Could never comprehend my God that MERCY was your plea. The sacrifice that gives me life just penetrates my soul. Because it's only by the cross that I can be made whole. Psalm 26:12 "My feet stand on level ground; in the great assembly I will praise the Lord."
