Time

What is this thing called time,
That I have in my hand?
And am I choosing wisely,
to do all that I can?
Each moment has to count,
for time is of the essence.
It doesn't wait for anyone,
so I'm caught up in the present.
I prey on every minute
as the clock ticks away.
Choosing not to miss the mark
as I face another day.
I seize in my ability
the power by full force.
With the divine authority,
there's no room for remorse.
The cause you see is clear,
it's to start a chain reaction.
To live life in abundance,
that will bring full satisfaction.
What is this thing called time,
that you have in your hands?
And are you choosing wisely,
to do all that you can?

Reflections left behind

She wanted to feel but was numb. Years of bottled up pain and confusion only followed her. She was misunderstood, yet they were the repercussions of her actions. Sta nd in the frontline for my seed Decree a spoken promise as I fall to my knees. Believing as I must in the one whom I can trust.
