Soundless Prayer

Now I lay me down to sleep,
I Feel like a forgotten sheep.
I sometimes don’t want to awake
In hopes to not feel my heart ache.
For deep inside I feel so lost,
Can’t bear the heaviness of my cross.
Surely there has to be much more,
A place where there’s an open door.
I feel the dryness in my bones
In deep solitude, all alone.
The walls around me closing in,
Why have I been born into sin?
The tears that fall no one can see,
Will someone come to rescue me?
Is this the price I have to pay?
I ask the Potter in dismay.
To whom else shall I go appeal?
If you’re the God that is so real.
For unto you do I confess,
In hopes that you hear me profess.
If you do call me as your own,
Please tenderize my heart of stone.
If I am truly the work of thy hand,
& if you really have a plan.
Show me the way that I should go,
And heal the cause of my sorrow.
Please let me feel your tender touch,
If it’s not asking for too much.
And breathe your breath of life upon,
The part of me that is withdrawn.
And if I face another day,
Just lead me on the proper way.
Now I lay me down to sleep,
As you surround me with your peace.
& if tomorrow I awaken,
I know that I won’t be forsaken.
Because the sight of new daybreaks,
Assures me you don’t make mistakes.
Amen

Revelation 7:17
For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

Before...

Before your rapture comes, before the trumpet blows. Disensitize me Lord, each day that I may grow. I humbly come to you. with courage to confess, Lord lead me by your spirit, that I might die to flesh. I hunger for your will, your purpose and your plan. Because your grace sustains me, to firmly in you stand. I pray each night and day, and magnify your name. I thank you for your precious blood, that clears me from my shame. Your voice I long to hear, that I might not be dormant. Desiring to hear you say, "Well done my faithful servant." Isaiah 33:6 "And there shall be stability in your times, an abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the reverent fear and worship of the Lord is your treasure and his."

Reflections left behind

She wanted to feel but was numb. Years of bottled up pain and confusion only followed her. She was misunderstood, yet they were the repercussions of her actions. She longed to be loved only failing to realize she already was. How could she recognize the difference between what she can become and what she only saw. How could she be freed from that stronghold upon her? Her reflection in the mirror only sunk her deeper. How can she gamble on her faith when she feared losing? So much to gain, yet that first step was almost impossible to take. She could do it, she was told. She started to believe, started to hope, started to humble herself, started to open her heart. Letting her first True Love, the one that she was oblivious to, into her heart. She encountered a reflection of her past. So painful, yet liberating because her beloved was beside her. Her beloved made her a promise like no other she had heard before, and deep in her soul, she could sense the covenant would guide her, subside h...

The Woman Today

Before you say you love her, before you ask her name. There's something you must know, she's been stripped from all her shame. Her yesterday's are gone, her tomorrow's are unknown. She's living in the present, and making it her own. Don't try to tear her down, she's been down that road before. The woman she's been created to be, will not compromise anymore. If you can stand beside her, and just allow her to be. The woman that has become, a woman of dignity. She's had her share of pain, she's had her share of tears. But now she stands before you free, delivered from her fears. She's made some big mistakes, her life was just a mess. But now that she's surrendered, her master calls her BLESSED. He dances over her, and showers her with his love. Unconditional love only he can give, that comes from up above. Isaiah 54:4 "Do not be afraid; you will not suffer shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the sha...
